My husband and I were first introduced to the poodle breed by a friend with whom I worked with. We fell in love with the poodle breed and knew that when the time came, that would be our first choice. Along the way, my friend would send us updates on poodles that needed a home, but nothing ever seemed to come to fruition, and we knew that adopting a dog would be the best option for us. My husband and I have two boys who have asked for a dog for quite a while. My friend, with whom I work with, sent me a message a couple of weeks before Christmas introducing me to Mavroudis Poodles and told me we were pre-approved for adopting a poodle. After filling out the adoption application, I get a phone call from Mavroudis a few days later telling me of a rescued sweetheart named Ripley. He was brought to us and we instantly fell in love with him! Ripley was a Christmas Eve surprise for our boys, who absolutely adore him! Ripley made himself at home the moment he came! He loves to watch and chase squirrels, go for walks, give hugs and smile. Adopting Ripley happened faster than we thought, but we knew he was meant to be ours!
